This year’s first quarter field trip was very educational. First we went to an old house that served as a protection/shelter during the underground railroad. It was really neat and had a cool secret passage way and little hiding places for trinkets (keys, jewels, etc.). Second, we went to a blacksmith’s place and watched him make an awesome metal leaf. Then we went to a pottery shop where a lady made some amazing pots, vases, and candles holders. Next we went to a cheese factory where we tried all kinds of cheese such as Tomato, Basil, Olive, Cajun, Pizza, and many more. Last we went to a camel farm and drank some camel milk. It tasted a little salty, but it was okay. All-in-all it was a fun field trip.
