Board of DireCTORS

2023 - 2024

  • Ben and his wife, Liebe, along with their two children, Caleb and Lydia, live in the Wellman area.  Although Ben and Liebe graduated with teaching degrees, they now own a business called ‘Catch’em Critters’ which works with individuals who have critters in unwanted places. This works well with Ben’s love for animals and his understanding of animal behaviors.  Ben and Liebe attend First Baptist Church in Wellman.

If you were to ask what they enjoy doing, their answer would be, “We enjoy outdoor activities, gardening, and spending time with our children.  We also love to travel.”  Ben would also have many stories to share about his experiences with animals from naming all of their farm chickens as a child to his most challenging job.

  • Jason is the co-owner of Kalona Post & Frame and Jeana is a nurse at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.  They live near Wellman, Iowa with their son Aiden.  They attend Upper Deer Creek Church.  In his free time, Jason loves camping with his family and friends, hunting and fishing with his son, and flying airplanes. Jason & Jeana are grateful for a school that teaches Godly principles, scripture memorization, prayer, and how to imitate the life of Jesus Christ.

  • Marvin Miller is a dedicated family man, proud husband, and a father to four children. He works at Heartland Designs where his passion for creativity and craftsmanship shines through. Outside of work, he stays physically active, values friendships, and is committed to supporting and growing the local community. His faith is rooted in the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus, and he desires to live and share the kingdom of God in his active involvement at Gospel Light Fellowship church and the greater community.

  • Jerad is a farmer, working on Amy’s parents’ family farm. We were high school sweethearts and have three children attending Pathway. We attend Lower Deer Creek Church. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, skiing, and coaching his kids’ sports teams.

  • Colleen and her husband John live in North English. Colleen works at Reliable Tires & Service in the office. John is the maintenance manager for Kalona Creamery (Open Gates Group). John and Colleen are both PCS graduates (Class of 2001) and started dating their Senior year of high school. They have 3 sons, Logan, Asher & Connor. Logan graduated from PCS in 2023. Asher & Connor still attend and are in high school.  They attend Upper Deer Creek Church.  Colleen loves getting to know people and has a desire that all would feel seen and loved. She loves spending time with friends and family, second-hand shopping, coffee, and pedicures.  “Pathway was such an amazing experience for me and I am so very happy we are able to send our children here as well!”
